I think I shall buy one as a graduation present to myself, for graduating college to become a teacher! :) (That is.... if I don't receive one as a graduation gift.)

This will be perfect, as I will be a Social Studies, Reading, and English/Language Arts teacher! Great for teaching those little rascals where placed are in our Geography lessons and for showing the places where the characters live in our given stories being read in class!

My life just changed.

Ramblings of December 14th

So, you might (or might not) know of my favorite animal.
It is a cow.
To be specific.... an Oreo Cow!


I have been thinking a lot about them lately... maybe because I have a stuffed animal of one in my room, given to me by my friend, Talia.


But also maybe because it is the background on my laptop... haha

This was a monumental day of my life:

My Arm Tingled...

Vans just posted this on Facebook saying this band will play at Warped Tour this coming summer. I know the band a bit, but I'm not a avid follower of them.


But... I just watched this video. It seems so genuine and heartfelt! I actually got tingles on my arm!

Send A Letter To Your Soldiers! c/o Xerox!

Today, I received an email from College Republicans chairman, here at ISU.

I took the time to fill a couple out...it's the least I can do when soldiers give their lives up for me everyday they're overseas.

If you could find a few moments out of your day to fill out a card the Xerox company will send them over for you.  It is a quick and very easy process, so please help send some joy to the 

Troops fighting for us this Christmas.

This is my first post - of my first blog ever!

So... I want to start off my saying hello!

This is the product of an evening snowed in at my apartment. It's really an insane blizzard. I've been warming myself up tonight by watching movies with the boyfriend while sipping on our own coffee drink concoctions! They're truly scrumptious!
